History: Sector-2 has been established in Dhaka from 2020.
Functional areas:
- Specialized Hospital & Post Graduate Institutes,
- EDCL & its regional offices
- Institute of Public Health,
- Department of Health Engineering,
- Production and Distribution Centers of O.R.S,
- Directorate General of Nusrsing & Midwifery
- National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM),
- Institute of Public Health Nutrition,
- Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research – IEDCR,
- Infectious diseases Hospital,
- Directorate General of Drug administration (1.directorate of drug administration. 2. Drug Testing Labs. 3.offices of the divisional drug administration 4.offices of the Drug super
Address: Directorate of Health Audit (3rd Floor), Audit Complex, Segunbagicha, Dhaka-1000.
Activities:
- Audit planning, Audit team formation, Audit supervision, Audit briefing etc of 561 auditable units. Relevant follow up after audit, QAC-1, broadsheet reply, issuing general and advance para, sending draft reports to report sector.
- Participation in bi-party/ tri-party meetings.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report.
- Performing administrative activities and other responsibilities imposed by higher authority
